I realized just a few moments ago that in 4 months I will be past my due date. 4 MONTHS!!!! That now seems like such a short amount of time, though I am sure that now I have said it it will just drag on and on.
I'm definitely getting into that nesting stage. The room that will be her room was once my office so we (and by we I really mean Jared mostly) have moved my computer out and into the boy's room. I've cleaned all the walls and baseboards in her room and we've shampooed the carpet. All the furniture except for the crib is set up and in its place, though we'll have the crib set up within the next day or so. At this exact moment Jared is setting up one of those stuffed animal nets so that it's all ready for us to put our old stuffed animals in for her. I've got several projects that I would like to do before the end of September so that they are done before she gets here. I'm not sure how many of them I will actually get to do but a girl can dream right?
I've had a hard time resisting buying all the REALLY cute things that I have put on our registries both on Amazon and at Walmart, but have so far succeeded in not buying a whole lot. We did find the CUTEST outfit when we were at walmart last week. It may or may not be her going home outfit, it really depends on if I find something even cuter. We also picked a few hats and onesies that were on sale (I have a hard time saying no to clearance items). We have started to stock up on diapers when they are at the right price per diaper. At City Market they always have digital coupons on diapers so we check the deals whenever we go grocery shopping. (If you still have a little one in diapers be sure to check out your kroger store digital coupons because they are awesome.) So far we have diapers in newborn, size 1, and size 2. We've also bought a few bottles, diaper cream, baby shampoo (thanks again to digital coupons) and a thermometer,
I still can't believe that our little girl will be here in 4 months!

22 Weeks
How Far Along: 22 Weeks 5 days
Baby's Size: Spaghetti Squash (11 in, 1 lb)
Gender: GIRL!!!
Sleep: Most mornings I wake up with pain in my back and/or shoulders, so I am hoping the pillow I just ordered will be helpful. Otherwise sleep is great.
Miss Anything: Not being hot, I mean it is usually 100 degrees outside but still I feel like I am going to catch on fire IF I go outside. I also miss being able to be outside, it's WAY too hot during the day and by the time it is cool enough the bugs come out and launch their attack on me.
Movement: She's an active one, especially just before or after I eat. I feel her several times a day every day.
Food Cravings: Watermellon, Jell-O with lots of whipped cream (I should make some), pudding, popsicles
Food Aversions: Hot Dogs (I tried some in my mac&cheese and it was not good), FISH (do NOT mention the f word in my presence or you may die), and eggs
Happy or Moody Overall: Moody, most definitely.
Best Moment(s) of the Week: Getting all the furniture moved so we can set up our little girl's room, seeing "Finding Dory" with Jared, dinner at J. Fargos.
Looking Forward To: having the baby's room finished, giving myself a manicure & a pedicure (it's definitely time to do it), starting some other baby projects (I want to make a few blankets, make burp clothes - some of which will be for my friend who is due any day), finding some time to relax.

Boy or Girl???
On June 7th we had our first ultrasound. Yes I realize that many women have their first ultrasound before they are 20 weeks along, but my amazing doctor waits until 20 weeks. And seeing as I am driving 6 hours to see my doctor I trust him completely (hence the driving 6 hours just to see him). Anyway we knew that we would be seeing this miracle baby of ours and also finding out if we are having a boy or girl, so we were pretty excited. I had heard that the gel is cold so I braced myself, but Brad (the technician guy) warmed it up so that I would be more comfortable. It didn't take long for us to see our little one. We checked out the heart to make sure everything was in order there and saw all 4 chambers of the heart pumping away and checked out the heart rate which was at 136. We then saw all 4 limbs with fingers and toes, and some measurements were taken. We saw the spine and rib cage. We saw the head and some measurements were taken. Then we came to finding out if we had a boy or girl. Thankfully our little one was cooperative and we got a very clear picture right between the legs so there was no doubt. Based on measurements and such they put our due date as October 22, though I am sure the baby will come when they are ready. Jared snapped some pictures of our ultrasound...
We then headed to lunch at Joe Morley's BBQ (best BBQ place) to celebrate the health of our baby. I'd been craving Joe's baked beans, brisket and onion chips for a while so it was a no brainer to go there for lunch. After lunch we headed to Zurchers to get supplies for our big reveal with my parents and all our siblings that live in the Salt Lake Valley. We grabbed the appropriate balloons as well as things needed to make a cake. We then spent the next hour or so getting things ready. Bo was VERY interested in the balloons...
At 6:00 everyone (minus Andrea who came later after getting out of class) came over to my parent's house and we took our balloons into the backyard so that our boys could be involved as well. My sister was more than happy to take pictures for us and my dad got some video on his phone. Once everyone was ready we let the balloons out of the box.
Yep it's a girl! Which means we have no ideas on a name for her. But we already love her so much already and are excited to be her parents.

19 Weeks
How Far Along: 19 Weeks 5 days
Baby's Size: A Heirloom Tomato (6 in, 8.5 oz)
Gender: We find out on TUESDAY!!!!
Sleep: I'm starting to not be able to make it through 8 hours of sleep without having to get up to use the bathroom.
Miss Anything: Being able to sit down and get up without a lot of effort, being comfortable at all while sitting actually
Movement: Definitely feeling movement. I felt it the most while we were sitting in the sealing room at the temple. There seems to be more movement after I have eaten than during any other time of the day.
Food Cravings: Nothing new really
Food Aversions: Nothing new to add to the list
Happy or Moody Overall: Moody, most definitely
Best Moment(s) of the Week: There have been a lot this week. Seeing Marsha get married. Having fun with Jared at the reception. Decorating the car. Going to Mount Whitney with the family. Going to the Newport Beach Temple and then on to the beach (that's probably my fav). Going to the pool. Going to the movies.
Looking Forward To: Our ultrasound on TUESDAY!!!!
