33 Weeks

How Far Along: 33 weeks 6 days (at least I think so)
Baby's Size: Good question... (yep Kindle is dead so we're out of luck today)
Gender: Girl
Sleep: Unfortunately my bladder will not let me sleep straight through the night
Miss Anything: Other than not having pregnancy discomforts... nope
Movement: SO much movement! She moves all the time. But she is kinda shy and wont let anyone but me and MAYBE Jared feel her move.
Food Cravings: I got a craving for Joe Morley's BBQ in particular the smoked beef brisket and baked beans yesterday.
Food Aversions: Nothing new to the list.
Happy or Moody Overall: Moody more than Happy
Best Moment(s) of the Week: Coming home Wednesday (aka seeing Jared again).
Looking Forward To: Date night tonight with my sweetie (it'll be the last one while I am still living down here, hopefully we'll get to go out at least a few times up in So Jo if Jared comes to visit me). Baby shower with all my Mussi friends tomorrow @ 2. Getting baby things put away and things washed so they are ready for her when she and I come home. Finishing the last of my sewing projects this next week (I'm making a travel pillow thing for nursing - wish me luck because I am kinda making this one up, and pillow cases)

31 weeks!

Quick update for those who aren't on Facebook or happened to miss something.
So about a week and a half ago (8/17) I was out with my girlfriends and the kids, and as we were all heading back home I tripped over the wheel of a bike and fell... partly on my stomach. Thankfully I tried to catch myself with my arm and knee (I still have some road rash on my knee) and I only hit on the right side. One of my friends called the paramedics and the other called her husband to get Jared over. It wasn't long before baby girl was moving like crazy, which as much as that made the pain I was in worse it was a relief. The paramedics came and checked me out and everything was looking ok. They still suggested I get checked out, so Jared took me to the clinic and a doctor who is also a certified midwife did a more thorough check. Baby girl's heart rate was good and everything checked out fine.
At my last doctor appointment on 8/23 my blood pressure was great as well as my urine sample. My total weight gain this pregnancy is 19 pounds with 2 more months to go. Dr Steele says I'm doing great with my weight and says to keep it up. My appointments now go to every 2 weeks, so it means traveling a little sooner than I am use to. Thankfully I have a great bladder and can usually make the drive without having to stop.
In less than a month I will be moving up to my parent's house until this little girl decides to come. It really doesn't make sense for me to be driving up every week and I am guessing I wont want to travel that much. This means I have less than 1 month to get all my sewing projects done for this little girl. I still need to make burp cloths (I made the same kind for my friend who just had a baby in July and she says they are the best), 2 pillowcases for the throw pillows for the futon in the baby's room, the canopy cover for the car seat, and the arm saver for the handle of the car seat. Thankfully these sewing projects aren't too tricky and will only take a day/night each. The house seems to be mostly in order for this girl to join us so that is a relief. The tricky thing will be getting things organized after any baby showers that will happen over the next few weeks.

Now on to my usual weekly(ish) post info.

How Far Along: 31 weeks 7 Days (32 weeks tomorrow)
Baby's Size: Not sure... my app is on my kindle which is dead at the moment.
Gender: Girl
Sleep: If I get the right head support sleep is great.
Miss Anything: My right side not constantly feeling pushed on (baby girl loves to hang out on only my right side)
Movement: I feel this girl move all the time. I can usually tell where she is. However whenever I try to let someone else feel her move she decides to be shy and stops.
Food Cravings: Chocolate Chip Cookies have been my favorite this week.
Food Aversions: Fish, Hot Dogs, Eggs
Happy or Moody Overall: Moody
Best Moment(s) of the Week: Coming home to 2 very excited boys (Bo & Sam) that missed me while I was in South Jordan, date night/shopping trip with Jared last night.
Looking Forward To: Dinner with friends tomorrow night, the baby shower my mom & sister are throwing for me on the 3rd.

29 weeks!

Hard to believe we're already in the 3rd trimester. Only 11 weeks (ish) to go.

How Far Along: 29 weeks 7 days (in other words I'll be 30 weeks tomorrow)
Baby's Size: Butternut Squash (15.25 in 2.5 lbs)
Gender: Girl
Sleep: I've had some issues with breathing so going to sleep can be a challenge (I sometimes go into a panic thinking of going to sleep - yep totally irrational). As long as I get the right amount of pillows under my head and have my wedge pillow I can still sleep.
Miss Anything: Being able to breathe normally - I've still got some congestion from my cold and baby girl thinks that up towards my lungs is a great place to just hang out.
Movement: This girl is a mover (she's a Wonnacott that's for sure). When possible I make sure Jared gets the chance to feel her moving around. She either is hanging out way too high (where my lungs are) or way down low.
Food Cravings: Ice Cream, Watermellon, Anything cool/cold really.
Food Aversions: Fish, Hot Dogs, Eggs
Happy or Moody Overall: Moody
Best Moment(s) of the Week: Watching the Olympics with Jared, enjoying the last week of Jared's summer break.
Looking Forward To: Finishing projects for our baby girl

27 weeks and quick update

Sorry I have been a little MIA the last few weeks. July has been CRAZY! Over the last few weeks we've had a doctor appointment where my blood pressure was a little higher (but nothing to worry too much about), went to an all day birthing class (super informative by the way and gave both of us a little piece of mind), traveled to California, went on a 3 day cruise (post on that to come soon), I went to a Keith Urban concert in Salt Lake just a few days after the cruise (SO worth it), and then I have come down with a cold. Insane right!? I can't believe that Jared goes back to work in just a few weeks, this summer has flown by. Anyway here is your update on what is going on with our little girl.

How Far Along: 27 weeks 3 days
Baby's Size: Cauliflower (14.5 in, 2 lbs)
Gender: Girl
Sleep: Sleep is still possible though I have had to increase how many pillows I have under my head so that I can still breathe. Getting out of bed definitely takes some effort.
Miss Anything: Not being hot all the time, being able to sit for extended amounts of time without being totally uncomfortable, oh and being able to take cold medication.
Movement: SO much movement it blows my mind sometimes. She is definitely a mover. I can see her movements as I see my belly move. Over the last few days Jared has been able to feel her move, which is absolutely AMAZING. He loves her so much.
Food Cravings: Soft Serve Ice Cream (I ate lots of ice cream on our cruise so my body still wants it like every day), cold watermelon (good thing we bought one yesterday while in town huh), fruit in general.
Food Aversions: Just the same things = hot dogs, fish
Happy or Moody Overall: Moody
Best Moment(s) of the Week: Seeing as it's been a while since my last post I'll say the best moments of the last few weeks... Our 3 day cruise to Ensenada with the Wonnacott extended family (I married into a great extended family), going to Keith Urban with Stephanie & Heather (we've gone to all of his concerts in Salt Lake for the last 12 years), Jared being able to feel her move.
Looking Forward To: My next appointment on Tuesday, swimming next week, getting the house the rest of the way ready for our little girl to live here too, not being sick anymore (you really shouldn't be allowed to be sick while pregnant).

23 Weeks

How Far Along: 23 weeks
Baby's Size: Large Mango (11.5 in, 1.1 lb)
Gender: Girl
Sleep: I wake up every day with a sharp pain in my back right around my left shoulder blade. I think I will get a prenatal massage when I am in SLC later in July if not before. It is getting harder to get out of bed in the morning, both from tiredness and also because my body will not move.
Miss Anything: Being comfortable
Movement: The movements I am feeling are less swirly feeling and more like pushes, though I can't tell which part of her is pushing. I feel her every day, several times a day now.
Food Cravings: Funnel Cakes (though that is mostly because it keeps popping up in my notifications on pinterest as being repinned), Jell-O, Pink Jell-O Salad, Watermelon
Food Aversions: Nothing new to add to the list this week.
Happy or Moody Overall: Moody
Best Moment(s) of the Week: We got the crib set up and all the furniture arranged in her room
Looking Forward To: The 4th of July festivities, which really is just another way of saying having a BBQ with sweet corn & watermelon plus a festive cake I am going to make. Also our next appointment is on the 7th which means I get to hear her heartbeat again and also we'll be in civilization for a while (aka I can have Chic-fa-le). Oh and our birthing class on the 9th (though if I am being totally honest I am a bit nervous for it too, my knowledge in biology has me terrified for birth).

4 months to go!

I realized just a few moments ago that in 4 months I will be past my due date. 4 MONTHS!!!!  That now seems like such a short amount of time, though I am sure that now I have said it it will just drag on and on.
I'm definitely getting into that nesting stage. The room that will be her room was once my office so we (and by we I really mean Jared mostly) have moved my computer out and into the boy's room. I've cleaned all the walls and baseboards in her room and we've shampooed the carpet. All the furniture except for the crib is set up and in its place, though we'll have the crib set up within the next day or so. At this exact moment Jared is setting up one of those stuffed animal nets so that it's all ready for us to put our old stuffed animals in for her. I've got several projects that I would like to do before the end of September so that they are done before she gets here. I'm not sure how many of them I will actually get to do but a girl can dream right?
I've had a hard time resisting buying all the REALLY cute things that I have put on our registries both on Amazon and at Walmart, but have so far succeeded in not buying a whole lot. We did find the CUTEST outfit when we were at walmart last week. It may or may not be her going home outfit, it really depends on if I find something even cuter. We also picked a few hats and onesies that were on sale (I have a hard time saying no to clearance items). We have started to stock up on diapers when they are at the right price per diaper. At City Market they always have digital coupons on diapers so we check the deals whenever we go grocery shopping. (If you still have a little one in diapers be sure to check out your kroger store digital coupons because they are awesome.) So far we have diapers in newborn, size 1, and size 2. We've also bought a few bottles, diaper cream, baby shampoo (thanks again to digital coupons) and a thermometer,

I still can't believe that our little girl will be here in 4 months!
